Rugby Round-Up is the premier site for National, International and Competition Rugby statistics and news. The site prides itself on its close relationship with Rugby clubs to benefit from receiving up-to-the-minute information.
Rugby Round-Up needed an internal system that enabled the site to be administrated as well as a system that enabled Rugby clubs to upload match statistics. The system also needed to be informative to Rugby enthusiasts.
USER REQUIREMENTS:

They needed a system that clubs could utilise with ease and efficiency for uploading match fixtures and results
They needed a website to become a 'front' for the database to display the latest news, fixtures, results and information for Rugby fans and enthusiasts
SOLUTION OVERVIEW:
Rugby Round-Up approached Crushed Ice with outlined ideas for what they needed from their system. In discussing these ideas, it was decided that a two-fold solution was required to meet the needs of their business; a bespoke Custom Management System for the administration of the website and a bespoke website to display the data collected.
Crushed Ice spent time with Rugby Round-Up to carefully map out the specific processes required for the CMS. The system was then developed and fully tested for operation.
An informational website was then designed and developed to work with and to display the data managed by the CMS.
THE SOLUTION:
A bespoke Content Management System was produced and is hosted online for secure access by administrators and clubs
The system and website is hosted on a dedicated server to protect the information submitted to it by all parties
The system enables clubs to login and upload their fixtures and results
The system enables Rugby Round-Up to manage their online advertising agreements and the statistics uploaded by clubs
The system enables Rugby Round-Up to generate reports that are queried from the database
The system enables fans and enthusiasts to register to become Members of the website, providing them with access to exclusive content
The website provides Rugby Round-Up with a platform to display the news, fixtures and results that are uploaded by Club administrators
